Meet Barbara Yelton. Barbara is one of the most caring individuals All For Family has ever met. She expressed she had found a purpose while volunteering to serve families through our Supervised Family Visit Program. Our families really enjoyed working with her, and they trusted her because they knew she wasn't going to hold back, and would tell them like it was. However, they also recognized the kindness and caring in her heart, and they trusted the advice she gave. Thanks to her, families received many hours of free supervised visitation they might not have otherwise received. Last year, she spent quite a bit out her own pocket to ensure one of our families was blessed for Christmas. She did amazing work keeping our office organized, clean, and she often donated supplies for the office as well. She has been a true blessing to our organization. Barbara has been out for a few months on medical leave, and we, at All For Family, miss her very much. We wish her a speedy recovery, and she and her family a safe and happy holiday season. Our families miss her as well and ask for her. We love you Barbara!
Meet William Elliott. William is another very kind soul All For Family has been blessed to know. Whatever visits Barbara was not able to cover, William was generally there. Not everyone understood his sense of humor, but those who took the time to get to know him came to appreciate his caring heart, depth, and wisdom. One mom, who recently progressed to enough unsupervised time to no longer need our services, had this to say about William: "My children really enjoyed it at All For Family, and especially William. He gave the great words of wisdom and made them pictures. We will truly miss him and the other volunteers."
Many of our client children thought of William like a Grandpa and gave him hugs. William made special poem gifts for the children, as well as the parents. He blessed our office with his beautiful photography & poems, and blessed our volunteers last year with gorgeous calendars. William will be retiring from All For Family at the end of this month. We will miss you William, and we wish you and your family a safe & happy holiday season. We sincerely thank you for your volunteer service with All For Family.
All For Family would like to say thank you to all of our volunteers. We would not be able to do the work we do without your amazing efforts!
