Spring and summer are almost here, and with this comes Easter, and the need and desire to enjoy the outdoors.
If you have read about our expansion project we are working on, then you also know we are working to raise the funds we need to do so. Covid has made larger fundraising events very difficult this past year. We are, therefore, presently collecting items we can either raffle or auction off.
We would love at least 3-4 stuffed boy/girl Easter baskets we can auction off. We know this is short notice, but, with Easter being on April 4th, we would love to have these by March 15th.
In addition, we are looking other donated raffle/auction items, hopefully by the end of April, such as new kid's bicycles, new barbeque grill, estate sale type items (i.e. dishes, jewelry, furniture - if pickup can be arranged between the buyer and person who donates it, etc.). With several babies being born this summer, along with wedding season coming soon, gifts baskets for these occasions would be fabulous as well. In addition, if you or anyone you know happens to own a vacation property and would be willing to donate a week or weekend vacation we can auction, even if it is on consignment (where we raise anything above their "must have" costs), we would be extremely grateful.
